Thus, taxpayers could have amended their invoices, reported in Form GSTR 1, pertaining to the financial year 2017-18, till the due date of filing of Form GSTR 1 of March, 2019. Since, due date of filing of Form GSTR 1, for the month of March, 2019 has already passed, no amendments in invoices reported in Form GSTR 1 pertaining to the financial year 2017-18, could be made now.
As you are aware the last date for filing form DIR-3 KYC without fee has expired on 15th September 2018. The process of deactivating the non-compliant DINs has since been completed and their status has been updated as ‘Deactivated due to non-filing of DIR-3 KYC’. However, the non-compliant DIN holders may file DIR-3 KYC with a fee of Rs.500 (Rupees
Five Hundred Only) from 21st September till 5th October 2018(both days inclusive) to get their DINs reactivated. From 6th October 2018 onwards, a fee of Rs.5000 (Rupees Five Thousand Only) becomes payable for reactivation.
ITR & Audit Report due date extended to 15-Oct-18
The Due date for filing Audit report and ITR of AY 18-19 has been extended from 30-Sep-18 to 15-Oct-18. The Due date for payment of tax is not extended. Therefore, if tax is not paid within 30-Sep-18, assessee will be liable for payment of interest u/s 234A (refer Circular No. 5/2015).
